Tree house

The Tree House Kindergarten, situated at the core of a residential block in Ronda, is designed to evoke the spatial qualities of a tree house. A looping circulation path moves through two bases and three distinct outdoor zones, creating opportunities for exploration and diverse experiences.

As one moves deeper into the site, the presence of the outside world gradually fades. The youngest children's base and the calm outdoor plane are the most sheltered spaces, while the paved play area beneath the older children's base is closer to the street and more exposed to sound and activity from the city. The project can therefore be understood as a gradual journey outward into the world.
